What happens after you have just surrendered your worries to God
Below is a classic example of what exactly happens when you have just surrendered your problems to God.
It so happened that Victor was informed by the building authority that the place where he used to once stay is going to be demolished and he was further told to leave the place with a compensation which the builder would offer him. On the other hand, if he would not listen, then a bull dozer would be brought to destroy his house and thus clearing the land. Now, many days passed, the bull dozer did not come but Victor had already carried a bull dozer in his head. In other words, everyday and night he was thinking and worried about the bull dozer issue.
Finally, one fine day at about 9AM, Victor decides to surrender this problem to Jesus. Victor tells him saying “Jesus, I surrender my bull dozer to you. Jesus, I trust you”.
At about 6PM, Victor realized that all throughout the day, he had forgotten about the bull dozer which otherwise use to trouble him almost every time, throughout the day and night. After a couple of days, he remembered about the bull dozer again but this time, he realized that he had already surrendered the bull dozer to Jesus and so there is no question of getting worried about the bull dozer. Hence, he was again a bit troubled about the bull dozer and thus he said “Jesus, I return the bull dozer back to you”
After few days hence, Victor decided to meet the building authority person hoping that everything would be fine since he had surrendered his bull dozer problem to Jesus. When he actually went to meet the concerned person, he was not only reminded again about the bull dozer but also he was told that he was considered to be an illegal resident. This statement brought a further shock to him. He first felt that in spite of surrendering his problem to Jesus, yet matters turned out to be worst but after sometime he decided to pray and he realized that he should begin to trust Jesus completely. He should decide whether he wants to hand over his bull dozer to Jesus or whether he wants to keep the bull dozer with himself. If he tries to repeatedly give and take back the bull dozer from Jesus again and again, how can Jesus help him? He must make a complete surrender about his bull dozer problem to Jesus. After he did this, he was at peace and one day he decides to actually find with the legal authorities about his building’s legal status. He learned that he was absolutely a legal resident. He began to realize that the builder wanted to fool him so that he would get scared and move out from that place.
Note:
Firstly, we have to completely surrender our problems to Jesus. Secondly, we should trust Jesus that he will certainly bring a solution tom our problem, once we have handed them over to Him. We should continue to praise Jesus in all circumstances. We cannot see what God is doing and how exactly he will tackle the problem. He has his own ways. We cannot dictate our ways of solving the problem. We should only surrender our problems to Jesus and He will do the rest.
